Wave Ventures is managed by the management team consisting of 4-8 investment managers. Wave Ventures Oy is owned by Aallot ry.

Wave Ventures is an early-stage venture capital company located in Finland and Sweden. Wave Ventures invests in Nordic startups targeting next gen founders with a ticket size of 100-300k€.

The first closing of the fund Wave I Ky was in 2017.
The first closing of the fund Wave II Ky was in Q3/2022, and investing began during the same year.
The first closing of the fund Wave III Ky was in Q1/2025.

Wave Ventures is currently investing actively from Wave III Ky. The fund size is 10M€.The investment strategy has been described above in "Short description of the fund and establishment."The first fund, Wave I Ky (2017), and the second fund, Wave II Ky (2022), have been fully invested and are no longer making new initial investments.

Wave Ventures is a registered Alternative Investment Fund Manager and it is authorized and regulated by the FIN-FSA, Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland.

RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT POLICY

When making investment decisions, Wave Ventures follows the general FVCPA's guidelines. In addition, Wave Ventures is following its own responsible investment policy including the principles of ESG.

FVCA and FSC memberships

Wave Ventures is a member of the Finnish Venture Capital Association (FVCA) and follows its rules and guidelines. We are also a member of the Finnish Startup Community (FSC).
