Esg disclosure | Wave ventures fund i, II & III

ABOUT THIS DOCUMENT

We at Wave Ventures believe that a better tomorrow is created by founders and companies who aim to solve the sustainability issues in all forms (environmental, social and governmental).

As young people ourselves, we understand the crucial need for action to save the planet for us and the future generations. We aim to support this with our own actions.

This document covers the minimum liabilities set out in Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 ('SFDR') on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector (by June 2024).

INTEGRATION OF SUSTAINABILITY RISKS IN THE INVESTMENT DECISION-MAKING PROCESS (SFDR ART. 3)

'Sustainability risk' means an environmental, social or governance event or condition that, if it occurs, could cause an actual or a potential material negative impact on the value of the investment.

Analysis of the sustainability risks is a standard part of Wave's investment process. When analyzing and considering potential investments, an SDG-related checklist on opportunities and risks is used.

Wave Ventures has always excluded specific industries from its investment scope such as companies operating with fossil fuel, weapons, alcohol, gambling, pornography, companies conducting illegal activities or other unethical actions. This reduces sustainability risks organically.

NO CONSIDERATION OF SUSTAINABILITY ADVERSE IMPACTS (SFDR ART. 4)

Wave Ventures is not considering adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors ('Principal adverse sustainability impacts statement, PAI') as set out in Art. 4 in SFDR due to the following reason.

Due to the uncertainty associated with the liabilities relating to aforementioned factors and impacts of such an operator as Wave Ventures (size and nature of its activities), the company has not considered the adverse impacts of investment decisions on sustainability factors.

However, Wave Ventures will take aforenamed factors and impacts into consideration in the future following the regulative demands.

REMUNERATION POLICIES (SFDR ART. 5)

Wave Ventures does not have a remuneration policy.
